As part of Jack Fruit saplings Planting Programme in connection with the declaration of the Jackfruit as state official fruit, NSS volunteers planted Jackfruit saplings in the college premises.

Swatchh Bharath Pakhwada was observed from August 1st to 15th, 2018. All the NSS volunteers took Swatchh Bharat pledge in the college auditorium and devoted two days for cleaning the campus of the institutions. The Faculty and students of the Pediatric Nursing Department organized an awareness program for the postnatal mothers at the postnatal ward (ward 30) of Pushpagiri Medical College Hospital, Tiruvalla. The program was well appreciated by the mothers; they actively participated and made use of the opportunity to clarify their doubts.

Our students won the first prize in the poster competition organized by the IAP, on 1st of August at the Pediatric Medicine ward of Pushpagiri Medical College Hospital.The program was actually part of the ORS week valedictory function organized by IAP Kerala state.
