As part of world Hepatitis Day ,Medical Surgical Nursing Department has organised Health awareness programme –Flash mob in front of Spineys supermarket, thiruvalla on 04.08.22.
17 students (16girls and 1 boy )of third yr Bsc nursing have participated with faculties of Medical Surgical Nursing Department. After obtaining permission of concerned authorities the Principal , the Management of PCON ,the ward councillor Mr Sunil advocate (ward 37) and from Thiruvalla Police Station ,SHO Mr.vinod and the owner of Spineys supermarket, the programme dated on 04.08.22. The team reached the venue by 9:30am. Programme started with prayer followed by flash mob which made audience to gather nearby. Then etiology and management been displayed with placard .The programme ended with votes of thanks ,followed by chocolates and biscuits been given to the students by the owner of Spineys. The South Kerala Area manager Mr.Niju and Mr.Sabari have gifted UNIBIC biscuits to the students. Snacks been distributed among students from the part of college and the team have returned to college by 11 am.The team thanked the Principal mam for giving such a great opportunity to perform in the public.
