The Community Health Nursing Department of Pushpagiri  college of Nursing celebrated the world Tuberculosis Day on 24/3/2022 at kuttoor panchayath.The theme is –INVEST TO END TB SAVE LIVES . We started the programme with a prayer song. The programme was inaugurated by Kuttoor gramapanchayath president followed by a flashmob which gained the attention of the people present in the kuttoor junction, followed by a skit on the theme, with the help of audio-visual aids like charts, placards, posters, ladder charts ,  flashcards and leaflets. Around 100 people witnessed the programme and they gained knowledge about what is Tuberculosis  , mode of transmission, causes, clinical manifestations, diagnosis , management  and prevention. On the whole day was very useful and we are proud to be a part of it (12 BSc Nursing 4^th year students and 11BSc Nursing 2^nd year student). A heartly thank our management and teachers especially Mrs.Mathew Sony (professor and HOD of community health nursing) and Mrs. Asha Ashok (NSS coordinator) who accompany us and inspired us to conduct the programme .We are also thankful to authorities of PHC Kuttoor ,especially JHI Mr. Naseem for helping us to conduct world TB day programme.
