The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed webinar on nutrition for youth as part of Poshan Maah on September 30th 2021 at 10.00am. The programme helped to make aware about the importance of food nutrition and plantations, fish nutrition and traditional food in diet plan. This programme also helped to make aware about the importance of food, maintaining good nutrition and balanced diet in life. The chief guest was Ms.Asha Ashok, NSS Programme Officer. The programme was conducted via Zoom Platform. There were around 55 members including volunteers and teaching faculties. The programme started with NSS song by volunteers. Ms.Aiswarya, NSS volunteer commenced the programme . Ms.Anu Benoy, NSS volunteers welcomed the gathering. Ms.Ashy Basheer, NSS volunteer discussed to the volunteers on the topic nutrition and plantation. Ms.Meria Susan Shibu, NSS volunteer discuss about the fish nutrition among youth and Ms.Nikitha James, NSS volunteer discussed on traditional foods in diet plan to the volunteers . Ms.Thaneesha.P.Varghese, NSS volunteer had given the words of gratitude to the volunteers. The programme is a great enthusiasm as well as the webinar was very informative for the students.
