The Foundation of nursing department of Pushpagiri College of Nursing conducted a oration via zoom platform on September 18th 2021 at 6.00pm as part of world patient safety day. The chief speaker was Ms.Deny Anie Mathew, Nurse educator Women’s Wellness Research Centre, HMC,Doha. Around 200 delegates were attended the oration. The oration was commenced by Ms.Asha Ashok, Lecturer. Sr.Serena CMC, Associate Professor and HOD of Foundation Of Nursing Department welcomed the gatherings. Then Ms.Deny Anie Mathew took a very informative session on patient safety first about for 1 hour. Ms.Jisha Mary George, Assistant Professor had given the words of gratitude to the gatherings. Ms.Deny Anie took a knowledgeable session on patient safety and role of nurse in providing a safe therapeutic environment. The session enriched the knowledge of the delegates on patient safety.
