The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed the World Down Syndrome Day on 20/03/2021, in collaboration with Pushpagiri Hospital and Child Health Nursing Department.

This year, the theme of the day was “We Connect So That We Can Connect”.

Activity stalls were set by our volunteers which were very interesting and exciting for the down syndrome affected kids. The stalls include puzzles, games, building blocks and various prizes. Our 50 volunteers actively participated in the same.

The volunteers had the opportunity to interact with down syndrome kids and to analyse the capabilities of them.
