As a part of our Community Health Nursing we a group of 27 students of 4th yr BSC(N),

Pushpagiri College of Nursing Thiruvalla celebrated the 'wORLD POPULATION DAY ' on 12/7/24

at Taluk hospital Thiruvalla.The theme is 'Healthy timing and spacing in pregnancy 'for the

wellbeing of mother and child . Theprogramme was organised by community health nursing

department under the guidance of Prof Mathew Soney

The programme was started at 2.00pm followed by welcome speech and

ingauraterd by Mrs Anitha DMO officer The programme was esteemed by the presence of Mrs

sheejath Beevi MCH officer,Mr Sreekumar RCH officer,Mrs sreekala Health Inspector and other

PHC staffs . Students conducted a musical drama followed by health education regarding the

adverse effects and prevention of population explosion. At last vote of thanks was delivered.

The programme was very informative and great success
