As part of World Glaucoma week celebration, third semester BSc Nursing students along with Medical  Surgical department teachers participated in Glaucoma awareness Programme conducted by Amitha Eye Care Hospital on March 12 ^th and 13 ^th .The theme of this year is “TOGETHER ,WE FIGHT GLAUCOMA’’. Awareness classes were conducted to raise awareness among the people about glaucoma and thus reduce the burden of the disease. Total 74 students along with 4 teachers participated in the Programme. A short video film was also played. The programme was really very fruitful. The students were also given refreshment and got participation certificate. A pretest and posttest at the end of the session were also done.
