Dept. of Nursing Education and Administration, first year M.Sc. Nursing students of Pushpagiri College of Nursing organized a state level workshop in collaboration with Nursing service department and quality assurance cell of Pushpagiri Medical College hospital on the topic “Accreditation and Practice Standards’ on 18 December, 2024 at College Auditorium.  The first Session ‘Formulation of Protocol and Policies in Management of Nursing Services’ lead by  Mrs. Renuka  Devi.GM, Quality and Accreditation, PMCH and second Session  ‘Practice Standards in Hospital Setting’ lead by Mrs. Suvarna S Panicker, CNO,PMCH subsequently, inauguration meeting commenced with Prayer  song. Prof. Vineetha Jacob, Principal welcomed the gathering.  Rev. Fr. Aby Vadakkumthala, Director,Institutions  inaugurated the programme along with Inaugural Address. Vote of Thanks done by Ms. Roniya Maria Bijumon, second year M.Sc (N) student. Prof. Dr. Anoopa K. R Principal, SIMET College of Nursing took class on the topic ‘Standards in Nursing Education Programme and its Maintenance and Accreditation Guideline in Educational Institution’. At the end, participants filled feedback form and received certificates with KNMC 5.5 credit hours. Nearly 200 participants participated.
