Child health and mental health nursing of Pushpagiri College of Nursing jointly conducted a school health Programme at CMS school Thukalassery on 29/09/22 at 2 pm. Students of third year Bsc nursing( 2019 batch) has given health education on the topic ” Balanced Diet in school children”. Students presented a role play, discussed regarding balanced diet and hazards of junk food. Also taught them an action song on balanced diet.Total of 45 students from class one to four were present for the class. Representatives of teachers and parents were also present for the session..School children actively participated in the programme and they really enjoyed it. This helped to create awareness on balanced diet and hazards if junk food in school children. Students also distributed peanut candies to school children.
